It’s late so this is a short one – three of our games are pretty much ready to enter the hands of beta testers so we’ve spent a little bit of time furthering two of our long gestating PC projects…
Burrow Folk is a cozy puzzler that will be available on PC and Mac eventually. We’ll be sharing a lot more of this soon but how adorable is it looking? Expect Burrow Folk to scurry onto your computer screen some time in early 2027…
Our other game is actually a sequel to one of our earliest Atari ST games. Trader: Uncharted Seas is the third game in the series and this one is far, far more ambitious than anything else we’ve worked on. It’s also our first full 3D game.
Trader: Uncharted Seas is a naval adventure/simulation that takes place over a period of 25 years – it’ll give you a chance to make your fortune on the high seas before setting off to discover new lands and shape the future.
It’s really, really early days on this one but every game will be set in a unique procedurally generated world that will be teaming with life and will give you a chance for form alliances as you build your fortune and fleet and set sail. You’ll get to help develop outposts, you can choose piracy, you can even side with the natives of the New World when you get there.
We’re looking at a mid to late 2027 release for this one.
